AFMA Regional Chapter News
 

The purpose of this page is to communicate news items and schedules of events originating from AFMA Regional Chapters. The Board of Directors of AFMA encourages our members to establish Regional Chapters of the association in order to further facilitate communication, to enjoy fellowship and share the common bond of music with our members on a local level. Regional Chapters may include AFMA members living in a specific region, or may be composed of alumni of a specific USAF Band, past and/or present.

 

News from the 724th AF Band Chapter

724th Band 2nd. Annual Reunion Picnic 
The 724th Air Force Band Chapter of AFMA has scheduled it's 2nd. annual picnic for July 29th. 2007 to be held at the pavilion located in Holiday Park on McCord AFB. Starting time will be approximately Noon but Larry Koontz will be there about 10:00 a.m. and will be needing some help with set-up. The menu will be the standard picnic fare of burgers, hot dogs, bratwurst, soda & beer. Further details will be announced on this web-site as they are made available. Any former member of the 724th is welcome to attend and family members are strongly encourged to attend as well!

Holiday Park has campsites with full hook-ups for those traveling via RV but, there are no advanced reservations taken. Your informational contact for this event is by email at: larryj79@seanet.com

The AFMA is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in the state of Colorado. The complete By-Laws are registered with the Secretary of the State, and are printed at the front of each annual AFMA Directory or are available via request from the Executive Director.
