Located near McChord AFB/Tacoma, Washington.
724th Band 3rd. Annual Reunion Picnic
The 724th Air Force Band Chapter of AFMA has scheduled it's 3rd. Annual Picnic for August 1, 2009 to be held at the pavilion located in Holiday Park on McCord AFB. Starting time will be approximately Noon but Larry Koontz will be there about 10:00 a.m. and will be needing some help with set-up. The menu will be the standard picnic fare of burgers, hot dogs, bratwurst, soda & beer. Also, donated dishes will always be accepted. There will be an upfront fee of $10.00 per adult as calculated by the Picnic Committee. Further details will be announced on this web-site as they are made available. Any former member of the 724th is welcome to attend and family members are strongly encourged to attend as well!
For those without military ID, Larry Koonz was able to secure a "Special Event Pass." Larry will need your requirement information - as already requested -_by June 1, 2009.
Holiday Park has campsites with full hook-ups for those traveling via RV but, there are no advanced reservations taken. Your informational contact for this event is by email at: larryj79@seanet.com
