775 th AF Band, Davis Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ in 1949 or 1950.

The 775 th was TDY to Castle AFB, near Merced, CA when this photo was taken. This photo is from Hank Showers. He is one of the French Horn players in the photo. No other bandsmen are identified. 775 th AF Band’s Commander at this time was CWO Guy L. Stone.

(Note the US ARMY chevrons on some of the senior ranking musicians’ sleeves!)
